Creative Exploration

During my internship at Brandfuel in London, I was presented with an exciting and stimulating challenge by my boss to come up with eight seemingly boring, everyday items that could be creatively reimagined into unique and engaging marketing campaigns. The primary goal of this thorough exploration was to take an unexpected route, provoking thoughtful reactions and encouraging consumers to consider purchasing these products. Over the course of an intensive week, I pushed myself to develop two or three innovative marketing concepts for each of the selected products I had in mind. Among the eight items I chose, my favorite marketing campaigns ultimately emerged for the Garnier sun protection lotion and Arctic iced coffee. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to present my innovative ideas in a professional setting and received valuable constructive feedback on my strongest concepts, as well as insightful suggestions for how to enhance them even further. This task encouraged me to step outside of my usual brainstorming zone and significantly helped to rebuild my ability to articulate my ideas in a compelling and persuasive way.
